Press and Public Relations
Nellie Xinos, served as Carleton Varney’s executive assistant for many years and is now responsible for all press and public relations matters pertaining to Mr. Varney and Dorothy Draper & Company, acting as liaison and coordinator with magazine and newspaper editors in the preparation of articles and, particularly, with regard to Carleton Varney’s syndicated newspaper column, Your Family Decorator. Educated at Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand, her previous experience was in the press office of a diplomatic mission in New York. She is also responsible for the Dorothy Draper photographic archives. She has been with the company for 20 years.
